Top 5 Film & Television Apps on Android in Sweden in Q2 2023

In the second quarter of 2023, the top Film & Television apps on the Android platform in Sweden exhibited diverse performance trends in terms of weekly downloads, revenue, and active users. Here’s a closer look at the data from Sensor Tower.

HBO Max: Stream TV & Movies experienced fluctuating weekly revenue, peaking at approximately $42K in the week of April 24 and $39.7K in the final week of June. Weekly downloads showed a significant rise in the week of May 1, reaching 7.1K, while weekly active users remained relatively stable, averaging around 15.4K throughout the quarter.

Pluto TV: Watch Movies & TV saw a decreasing trend in weekly downloads, starting from around 10.7K at the end of March and declining to approximately 2.9K by the end of June. Weekly active users also decreased from 48.6K to around 22.4K over the same period.

SVT Play maintained a steady performance in weekly downloads, with a peak of 5.3K in early May. The app's weekly active users showed a high of 60.9K in the same period, with numbers generally staying strong throughout the quarter.

Disney+ led in several metrics. Weekly revenue peaked at nearly $100K in the week of June 19. Downloads were relatively stable, hovering around 3.7K to 4.2K, while weekly active users consistently stayed above 200K, peaking at 224.5K in the first week of April.

C More showed varied weekly download numbers, with a high of approximately 4K in early April. Active users displayed a gradual decline, starting from 36.6K at the end of March and dropping to around 31.2K by the end of June.
